Power

This quote really did got my attention and I found it rather interesting that it kept me wondering what is Power ? and How can one become Powerful ?

.

Power has been called many things. The ultimate aphrodisiac. An absolute corrupter. A mistress. A musical instrument. But its true nature remains elusive. After all, a head of state wields a very different sort of power than a religious figure. Can one really compare the influence of a journalist with that of a terrorist? And is power unexercised power at all?



Barack Obama is known as "The Most Powerful People"
How powerful is he? Let's count the ways:

Presides over world's largest, most innovative, most dynamic economy;
.
Commander-in-chief of planet's richest, deadliest military;
.
Finger on button of nuclear arsenal containing more than 5,000 warheads;
.
Head-of-state of world's sole superpower;
.
His Democrats have majorities in both U.S. House and Senate;
.
Recently awarded Nobel Peace Prize, apparently for general awesomeness.


It makes me wonder what does it takes to be him ? and it makes me wonder how does it felt like to be such a powerful person ? Lastly, it makes me wonder how to become Powerful.

A Spooktacular Halloween

This year... or for past years, i've never had any plans for Halloween Day but this year at least [ An Honest Mistake ] have a gig at Urbanattic.
.

After the gig, I decided to head over to ZOUK just to check out the scene... (since is only 1 kilometer away from where I was anyway.


and to my surprise... it was so packed ! there are easilly more than 300 people que-ing at the entrance waiting to go in. Even that will take them at an hour to get in...



but thanks to good friend - Adam. I managed to get in as soon as i arrived and took all the shortcut without having to squeez through the crowd.

After so much of partying we went over to Changkat for this famous Beef & Pork Noodle Stall. You should really go try it... Its Heavenly !

This time it was down south !

We went down to JB last weekend for one reason. - recharge .

.
Again without a doubt... the entire club ( JB Discovery) was fully packed with local clubbers and shufflers.

.
Once again the crowd was hyped up by the Chinese-Australian mixed emcee. Don't be surprised that her mandarin and cantonese can be more fluent than you and I. haha

What inspired me was the Shuffling Community in JB. They are so passionate in what they do, it doesnt take them to be tipsy before they start shuffling. They were FUELed by simply... THE MUSIC !

and the BASS AGENTS started off the night with some addictive, percussive beats to build up the night.

When midmight finally came, the man whom everybody was waiting for - Proteus, finally took the deck by STORM ! He is arguably the most famous DJ in all of Finland and is well-known for his thumping percussive hard dance style of music.

and his showmanship was.... INCREDIBLE !

My favourite part was when he strap on his guitar and started rockin with his trance beats.

The same day after press conference. I have to rushed over to The Star's Studio V at 1-Utama to perform for the closure of Indie Youth Festival.

This is my second time visiting Studio V but this time we're actually performing. So it was pretty good experience. It give the TRL feel... for those who knows what i'm saying. Haha

Despite the fact that they have H-Artistry and HOT Mag's 5th Bday bash going on here in K.L. I decided to head down to Ipoh to witness the kick-start of recharge instead.

Upon entering we were greeted by a FOG SCREEN. This has got to be the coolest entrace I've ever walked through.

They had a pretty good crowd despite the fact that it was raining heavily prior the event.

With Denise as the the emcee for the night. Just for your info she's only 16 this year but she can speak really well.

They started off by showcasing the apparels from Giordano.



The clothing was showcase by Amateur models and eventhough all of them are pretty faces from HELP but they did really well on the Runway.

I favor both the model and the dress. Especially the dress, I find it very interesting !
